About Counselor

Rev. Romondo Porchia, MDIV., LPC
As a Licensed Pastoral Counselor, ordained minister, and dedicated Christian practitioner committed to helping individuals and families find hope, healing, and restored wholeness through Christ-centered care my calling into pastoral counseling grew out of a deep passion for walking with people through some of life’s most challenging seasons—moments marked by grief, trauma, relationship strain, anxiety, spiritual confusion, or the desire for deeper emotional resilience. I believe that true healing integrates both spiritual renewal and practical evidence-based therapeutic support.
As an alumni of Amridge University; graduating with a Master of Divinity/Counseling degree; to include years of experience serving in correctional, community, hospice, and church-based settings I bring a compassionate, non-judgmental, and deeply relational approach to counseling. My work has included grief and bereavement care, emotional and spiritual support in crisis environments, pastoral guidance for couples and families, and psycho-educational group facilitation addressing anger management, addiction recovery, trauma, and emotional wellness. These experiences enable me to demonstrate a counseling style that is warm, structured, spiritually grounded, and attuned to the unique stories and struggles that each client brings.
What inspires me most about this work is witnessing transformation—when clients begin to see themselves through God’s eyes, reclaim their purpose, rebuild their lives, and strengthen their relationships. I am honored to provide a safe space where you can explore your faith, process your emotions, and grow at a pace that feels authentic and respectful.
At Romondo Porchia Christian Counseling, my mission is simple:
To guide, support, and empower you with biblically informed, clinically sensitive care so you can live with clarity, courage, and Christ-centered confidence.
