Christian counseling integrates professional counseling practices with biblical principles. It addresses emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges while helping clients grow in their walk with God and experience holistic healing.
No. While the counseling approach is faith-informed, all clients—regardless of religious background—are welcome. Sessions are conducted with compassion, respect, and clinically-sound care tailored to each individual’s needs.
We assist with a non-exhaustive range of concerns including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, marriage and family challenges, premarital counseling, addiction, stress, anger, spiritual concerns, and life transitions.
Traditional counseling focuses on emotional and psychological health. Christian counseling includes these components but also embraces biblical truth, prayer (as desired by the client), spiritual direction, and an integrated view of the mind, body, and spirit.
Yes. Your privacy is protected under professional ethical guidelines and state laws. The only exceptions involve safety concerns such as harm to self, harm to others, or abuse of a vulnerable individual.
Yes. Secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions are available for individuals, couples, and families. This allows you to receive support from the comfort and privacy of your home.
The length varies based on your goals. Some clients attend for a few weeks, while others continue longer for deeper healing and personal growth. Your counselor will help guide the pace based on your progress and preferences.
This practice does not currently accept insurance or file any insurance on one's behalf. However, affordable private-pay rates and flexible payment (sliding-scale) options are available. Reduced rates may also be offered for students, and ministry leaders; to include their immediate family members.
Your first session includes a warm introduction, a review of your goals, a brief history of your concerns, and a collaborative plan for moving forward. You’ll have space to share freely without judgment, and you set the pace.
A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. Scheduled appointments canceled without appropriate notice will incur a late cancellation charge equivalent to applicable session fee with exception extenuate circumstances.
This depends entirely on your comfort level. For clients who desire it, prayer and Scripture are woven naturally into the counseling process. If you prefer a more clinical focus, the sessions will center solely on therapeutic tools and established counseling models.
